License Agreement (EULA)
This End-User License Agreement is between you and Velorex Studio IT Services ("Velorex") and covers the Velorex Recovery Intelligence software. By installing or using the software you accept it.
1. License
Velorex grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the software on the number of Windows devices permitted by your plan, for the validity and recovery allowance of that plan. The software is licensed, not sold.
2. Free plan
Without a paid plan the software runs as the Free plan, with the limits shown in the software and on the website.
3. Activation
A paid plan must be activated in the software. Activation, and later checks of the license, may require an internet connection. Plan validity begins after first successful activation.
4. Restrictions
- Do not copy, resell, rent or sublicense the software or a license.
- Do not reverse engineer, modify or bypass the licensing, activation or usage-accounting mechanisms, except where the law expressly allows it.
- Do not use the software on devices or data you are not authorised to access.
- Do not share a license beyond the number of devices permitted by your plan.
5. How the software treats your drives
- The source drive is opened read-only for scanning and recovery. Recovering onto the drive being scanned is refused.
- Tools that write to a disk work on logical faults only, ask for confirmation first, and never repair physically damaged hardware.
- Disk imaging copies a drive so that you can work from the image. It does not repair the drive.
6. No warranty of recovery
The software is provided "as is". Velorex does not warrant that any specific file, amount of data or folder structure can be recovered. Results depend on the condition of the storage device and of the data remaining on it.
7. Ownership
The software, its name and its design belong to Velorex Studio IT Services. Third-party components are used under their own licenses, which are listed in the software.
8. Termination
The license ends when your plan ends, or earlier if you break this agreement or the license is revoked under the Terms & Conditions. Files you have already recovered remain yours.
9. Limitation of liability and law
The limitation of liability and governing law in the Terms & Conditions apply to this agreement.
