Terms & Conditions
These terms apply when you download Velorex Recovery Intelligence, use this website, or buy a recovery plan from Velorex Studio IT Services ("Velorex", "we"). By buying a plan or using the software you agree to them. Use of the software itself is also covered by the License Agreement.
1. What we provide
Velorex Recovery Intelligence is self-service data recovery software for Windows. We provide the software tool we developed, which reads your drive or disk and recovers the files, folders, photos and other data that are still recoverable. Recovery is performed by the software installed on your own computer, operated by you. We do not have a technician team that performs recovery for you. Velorex Studio IT Services does not provide physical laboratory, clean-room or technician-assisted manual data recovery as part of these software plans.
2. Scan before you buy
The Free plan lets you scan a storage device, list detected files, use supported previews and recover up to 500 MB. We recommend that you confirm the software detects your device and the files you need before you buy a plan.
3. Plans, allowances and validity
- Each paid plan has a recovery allowance, a validity period, or both, as shown on the pricing section at the time of purchase.
- Where a plan has both a recovery allowance and a validity period, the plan ends when either limit is reached first.
- Plan validity begins after first successful activation in the software.
- Only successfully recovered data counts toward the recovery allowance. Scanning, detected-file sizes, supported previews, disk structure analysis and failed recoveries do not count.
- Pro Annual has no recovery data quota during its 365-day validity. It is not a lifetime license.
- The features included in each plan are those listed for that plan when you bought it.
4. No guarantee of recovery
Recovery results depend on the condition of the storage device, filesystem metadata, overwriting, SSD TRIM, encryption and other technical factors. We do not guarantee that all of your data will be recovered. Purchasing a license does not guarantee recovery of specific files, of any particular amount of data, or of original file names and folder structure.
5. Features that are coming soon
AI Recovery Assistant, NAS / RAID Recovery and Velorex Mobile Companion are under development. They are not part of any current plan. Final functionality, availability and plan eligibility may change before release, and a current purchase does not entitle you to them unless that is explicitly stated when they are released.
6. Your responsibilities
- Use the software only on storage devices and data that you own or are authorised to access.
- Save recovered files to a different storage device from the one you are recovering from, and avoid writing new data to the source drive.
- Read the confirmation prompts carefully before using any tool that writes to a disk. You are responsible for operations you confirm.
- Keep your license details private. One license key is for one PC, identified by its machine ID. A plan ordered for several PCs gives one key per PC.
7. Payment and price
Prices are shown in Indian Rupees and are per PC. The price of an order is fixed when the order is placed. A license key is issued after payment is confirmed and is sent to the email address of your account. Promotional prices apply only while the promotion is shown as active.
8. Refunds
Refunds are described in the Refund Policy.
9. Suspension and revocation
We may suspend or revoke a license in cases of refund, chargeback, fraud, abuse or sharing beyond the permitted number of devices. Revocation stops future protected recovery operations. It does not delete files you have already recovered.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the software is provided "as is". Velorex Studio IT Services is not liable for loss of data, loss of profit or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the software. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the plan concerned. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. The version in force when you bought your plan applies to that plan. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
